Debbie was having several panic attacks a day, she had been for CBT through the GP and was coping better but still struggling – she sent me these emails after a couple of sessions

Convincing my sceptical husband is a work in progress! Although, he can’t deny the improvement in me. I went out yesterday to quite a few places and I had no Panic attacks at all. My Sister has said how much more calm, relaxed and happy I am. It’s amazing!

And after a dreaded holiday to Florida…

The holiday was great, I had a few panic attacks but nowhere near the number I would have had if I hadn’t come to hypnotherapy. I cannot thank you enough. The flights all went well and I felt great on holiday. I only had a panic attack in the supermarket & twice in an airport. Considering there were a fair few issues on holiday, this is a big success (we had delays on the flight out, a tropical storm, a day long power cut & I caught a nasty cold to name but a few lol).

Jan was having anxiety issues that her dog was sensing during competitions – she sent this letter after just one session

Just had to write to you, to tell you that I have just had the most wonderful weekend!  No feeling sick on the start line at all…  In fact my trainer said she has never seen me so calm, I was almost the other way inclined so chilled I had lost the competitive edge to run to win!  Each time I ran I enjoyed the whole experience, laughing when it went wrong rather than worrying that people were looking at me making silly mistakes. Had some really good runs too, no cups nor prizes but really good runs to feel very proud of.

So thank you so much for your time last Monday, it has obviously done something, although I cannot for the life of me understand how!

Still I shall keep your number in my book if I may, because if I need to come back again I most certainly shall.

Sarah came back with Stress problems 5 years after I helped her stop smoking

Five years ago I went to see Katy Webster in the hopes of giving up a lifelong smoking habit that I had spent the previous five years trying to kick. One session with Katy achieved what pills, patches and naked will power had not been able to. Yes; I had self determination. Yes; I agreed with myself to buy into ‘hypnotherapy’ beforehand despite previous scepticism. However, I would never have predicted such an amazing outcome. I just quit. There and then. Not only have I not smoked a single cigarette since, I haven’t really even wanted to despite my mouth still watering every time I smell nicotine! I totally recommend this option to anyone trying to give up smoking

So more recently, I decided to try it to reduce my stress levels leading up to the launch of a new commercial venture. After nearly six weeks of suffering mild panic attacks and insomnia due to stress, I went to see Katy. Immediately afterwards I felt so much better I knew I was going to be able to cope. I thoroughly recommend hypnotherapy as a quick release from stress and only wish I’d thought of booking a session sooner.

Lyndsay had been struggling with addictive and self destructive behaviour

Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU, Katy you have been amazing in helping me sort myself and my life out, letting me get things back on track so I can get out of that nasty rut I was trapped in for so long, and change my life for the better.
I don’t know what you do or how you do it but you “get” me and can always turn my negative thoughts/actions around with such understanding and ease. No matter how I feel when I walk into your office, you seem to know where I want to be when I leave, and amaze me by almost reading my mind to shift it round to where it needs to be!!
I would highly recommend you to anyone who feels they are unhappy, bored, stuck in some dead end rut to pay you a visit, if you really what to change and get your life back on track, please take some time to visit Katy, talk to her, be open and honest and you will be amazed by her astuteness and understanding of your inner self.

Marcus is now free from his flying phobia

Dear Katy, I just wanted to thank you for transforming my life! When I came to see you in November 2010 I had developed a phobia of flying. Like many people I had always been apprehensive about it. However, following a particularly turbulent return flight from New York 2 years ago, where even the cabin crew looked petrified, I decided I could not step foot on another plane. I was very panicked during the flight and, subsequently, the mere thought of getting on a plane had the same effect. It proved to be a rather limiting decision given the number of friends and family living abroad. The final straw came when my partner and I were invited to a friend’s landmark birthday at New Years Eve 2010 in the South of France.
Determined to go, we looked into the cost of a return rail journey. Since it added up to in excess of £2000.00 I realised it was time to take action about my problem.
We booked the flights first and then I called you to arrange an appointment. To be truthful, just discussing things over the phone made me feel confident that you would be able to help me. Following my appointment with you, the trip to France was a great success. Since then I have flown to the Algarve and I recently returned from a holiday in Thailand. The trip consisted of a 12 hour flight to Bangkok followed by a 1 and a half hour flight to one of the islands. I arrived with no problems and returned the same way.
What can I say? 1 hour with you sorted me out once and for all and I haven’t looked back.

This man had phobias around using the phone

It’s been an exciting week and much to my surprise it seems I have made a significant amount of progress. I have been chatting and speaking on the phone and it seems the phobia has more or less gone (phoned and received phone calls with any problems). I’ve been meditating/visualising everyday and also doing physical exercises for about 20min each evening and I think the combination of the two is what has made the difference. I would therefore like to postpone my appointment for next Monday if that’s ok, I think I have a pretty good understanding of what’s going on and hopefully I shouldn’t need another visit. Thank you again for all your help and advice, and if you don’t hear from me, have a great Christmas.

Jules had issues with confidence and self-esteem

I have been meaning to send you an email for a while, not sure if you remember me, I came to see you a few years back I work for the ambulance service. Anyway,I know a few of my work colleagues have been to see you, because I would recommend you to everyone, as coming to see you for hypnotherapy has changed my life!!! (Sounds a bit drastic, but its true!) It has been a gradual change, and I feel so different about myself and my life…. I did finish my paramedic training, and have been qualified a while now, and feel good with it. I have been with Jules now for 3 years and we have bought a house and we are very happy. I am not saying I don’t have ups and downs, but they are minor and dealt with in a very different way. I feel consistent and very much on an even keel…all this I could never have imagined pre hypnotherapy! I hope you don’t mind me sending you a message, but just wanted to say thank you so much for your help, it has been a great turning point of my life, and it takes a very special person to do what you do, so thank you

Steve had issues with Anger

Everything this seems to be going well no real anger in the 2 weeks, I just wanted to make sure it was working for me. If I think about it then seeing how I was and now there are changes, even from the first day, that day when I left your office, the car broke down, it just wouldn’t start, I called the breakdown truck and after 2 hrs it turned up, but the most interesting thing during that time was no anger.
So, can I book another session?
(When I asked Steve permission to publish his email he said “well if it worked for a cynic like me then it’ll work for anyone…”)

Paul – a Happy ex smoker

You may not remember me; I came to you about 3 and half years ago for some help with stopping smoking. It was the beginning of August or the end of July 2005. I have often thought that I should get in touch with you and let you know about my progress, but then I have always forgotten to email you whenever I’m at a computer. I would just like to say a big “THANK YOU” for your help and you’ll be pleased to know that I haven’t even had so much as a drag on a cigarette since our session, 3 and a half years ago. Thanks to your help, my life has changed for the better and for that I am eternally grateful. My girlfriend and I now live together in Harrow in a smoke free flat, our things don’t stink and I feel a lot healthier, both physically and mentally, since giving up.

Although not overweight, Jo had serious issues around food

I found Katy on the internet one evening when I finally accepted that I needed some help to overcome the issues I had with my relationship with food. I had not felt completely in control for many years and whilst I didn’t have serious problems I recognised my behaviour wasn’t quite ‘normal’. I felt unable to keep a stocked kitchen for fear of the food ‘talking’ to me in my weak moments when I would then eat all of it or quite literally throw it away.
After an initial consultation/chat I realised my scepticism with regard to hypnotherapy was unfounded and Katy put me at ease immediately and I began to talk and talk and let out my innermost feelings and emotions. With Katy’s help I got to the root of my problem which was largely based around having low self-esteem from a very early age. After just one session of hypnosis I felt like ‘me again’. I was still a little sceptical and continued to test myself but my previous behaviour was just not there anymore and thankfully still isn’t! I believe that Katy fixed me during that one session and would encourage anybody who is looking for an alternative way to free themselves from their inner demons to contact her without delay. I for one will be forever grateful.

Fiona had issues with eating and body image, and she could never relax and enjoy a meal

I just wanted to let you know that I think the last session definitely did the trick!! I am overjoyed. Thank you soooo much – you are really a star!

I’ve noticed that I’ve been much, much calmer around food. It’s the little things.. I’ve lost urge to shove something/anything in my mouth when I first get in from work, I don’t have that deep gnawing urge to nibble as I’m preparing/cooking, I’ve felt calm plating it up before eating and it has seemed the most natural thing in the world to eat slowly at the dining table!!

Also haven’t been using food for comfort at all.  I’ve had a couple of occasions since the session where I really would have turned to food in the past and I just haven’t even considered it. I have felt the emotions and just been OK ‘feeling them’ without needing to eat anything.

So thank you, thank you, thank you. Once again you’re ‘fixed me’! I really don’t know what I’d do without you.
